Parade 5000 Road Run

Registration
All runners should register online by 8:00 pm, July 23rd.
Individuals may register day of the race for $35. (T-Shirts pending availability)

Race Day Check-In
Check-in will take place at Corporate Tent 1 located on the northeast end of the Fairgrounds, directly north of the race track (near gate 5). This is when you will pick up your race shirt and race number bib. Check-in will begin at 10:00 am and will end at 12:00 pm SHARP. All registered runners will be bused to the starting line at Rogers Park by Cardinal Buses. Those without the current issued Parade 5,000 race number will NOT be allowed to use the transportation provided, nor run in the race.

The race itself begins approximately at 1:20 pm or whenever the race route can be completely cleared. Two water stations are available during the route, as well as ice towels at the finish line supplied by Wellpath.

Age Groups
Age groups are as follow: (male & female separate) under 12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, over 60.

Awards
Race shirts are given to the first 200 entrants. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each age group. The top male and female winner will each receive $100 towards tennis shoes donated by Woldruff's Footwear in Goshen.

There will not be a post-race award ceremony for the 2022 race. The medals and prizes will be taken to the Fair Office one hour after the race for the winners to pick up from there.

Results will be available at www.timetorun.net, Wattsmytime.com, and www.runsignup.com.

Disclaimers
Bandits will not be tolerated! All participants must be showing their official race number to start the race. Race organizers will be checking to ensure that the race is fair to all participants that sign up officially.

A youth mile fun run may take place on the grandstand track before the finish of the Parade 5,000 race, but is separate from this event. Those interested should visit 4hfair.org & "Competition Events" for more information.
