Welcome to The Brick Barn, the new destination for creativity and construction at the 2026 Elkhart County 4-H Fair! Whether you are a master architect or just love clicking bricks together, The Brick Barn is where imagination takes shape. Located in the heart of the fairgrounds at the Everence Family Entertainment Center (Maple Hall), we invite you to explore creative displays, compete in building contests, and help us build a community, one block at a time.

🛠️ Get Involved: How You Can Join the Build

1. Enter the Open Class Contest - Brick Build Challenge

Be a part of the Lego excitement at the 2026 Elkhart County 4-H Fair! Show off your brick building skills by entering the Brick Build Challenge. Your masterpiece will be on display in Maple Hall throughout the Fair. Bring your friends and family to vote for the People's Choice winner plus a chance to win cash prizes!

2. Become a Brick Barn Volunteer

We need "Master Builders" to help keep the gears turning! Volunteers help monitor the display area, assist kids at the "Free Build" tables, and manage contest check-ins. It’s a great way to give back to the community and enjoy the fair from behind the scenes.

  • Shifts are 2-4 hours long and include a daily fair pass!
  • Volunteer sign up link coming soon!

3. Donate Your Bricks (The "Brick Bin")

Is your household "finished" with its building block phase? Don't let those bricks gather dust in the attic! We are always looking for donations of used plastic building blocks to expand our Community Free-Build Zone.

Brick donations can be dropped off to the Fair Office Entry open 24hrs. We ask that donations are clean, gently used and placed in the designated bin in some sort of container or bag.

  • Impact: Your old bricks will help inspire the next generation of Elkhart County engineers!
