Trick or Treat at the Fairgrounds

Enjoy an afternoon of treats and fun at Trick or Treat at the Fairgrounds on Friday, October 25th from 1 pm to 5 pm! We're partnering with local businesses and organizations to provide a safe, free trick-or-treat event for our community. This event is absolutely free and pre-registration is not required. Simply show up dressed in your favorite Halloween attire and enjoy the event!

Please enter the Fairgrounds through Gate 2 and park outside the Elkhart County Community Center. Once parked, you may walk through the main gate.

Costume Contest

We are proud to announce our costume contest is back!
This will be a photo contest and more details will be available at our picture station located within the park. Be sure to dress to impress in your best costume for a chance to win a Wristband Voucher for the 2025 Elkhart County 4-H Fair!

The event is absolutely free to participate, and is open to any children under the age of 18!

Best Group Costume (all ages can participate in this category as long as there is a child under the age of 18 participating)

Treat Station Partners

The Fair prides itself on being an active contributor to our community by providing safe, family-friendly events. We are excited to bring back this event and we want to partner with our community members to provide a free event for our Elkhart County youth to enjoy in these unique times. Therefore, the Fairgrounds, invites community businesses to join us as a Treat Station Partner!

As a Treat Station Partner, you would be responsible for staffing a treat station, providing the treats/candy for that station, and any decorations you may want to put up. Decoration of your treat station is encouraged, but not required. Although, you may want to join in the fun of our Treat Station Decorating Contest!

Signing up as a treat station partner is absolutely free. However, spaces are limited and we encourage businesses to sign up early if they'd like a spot. For more info about being a Treat Station Partner and to apply, please click on the button below.

Treat Station Decorating Contest

Do you have the most spook-tacular decorating skills? Then this is the contest for you!

The Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds are proud to bring you the third annual Treat Station Decorating Contest! We are calling on all of our treat station partners to deck out their areas and participate in this fun contest.

Rules/Guidelines:
We won't ask you to contain your creativity, but gently remind that this is a family-friendly event.

Judges Panel:
2025 Fair Board President, Randi Yoder will be the ultimate judge for this contest and will announce his "Pick of the Patch" winner during the 2024 Trick or Treat event.
